We live in a world of knock-offs and fast fashion. As a young and emerging designer, I strive to create sustainable and ethical clothing that inspires confidence and individuality. The various collections and garments I have designed are well-researched and conceptualized to reduce waste in the industry. Doing so often requires innovative sewing and crafting techniques. My designs often incorporate natural fiber fabrics and cater to those who are Earth and health-conscious. I enjoy designing for all people no matter their gender. Often, my collections will be labeled as Female or Male presenting, or simply Unisex. Because of this, I love to blend both feminine and masculine design elements in my work to create an androgynous feel.

My Design Process

1. Extensive research for style, color, fabric, etc.

2. Create concept

3. Make thumbnail sketches

4. Choose final looks and develop further

5. Create CAD illustrations

6. Pattern and Drape mockups

7. Make alterations to said mockups and adjust patterns

8. Create final looks with production fabric

I am from rural Northern Illinois, but I am currently attending Lindenwood University in St. Charles, Missouri. I am set to graduate in May 2024 from the College of Arts and Humanities with a Major in Fashion Design and Technology and a Minor in Studio Art.

I grew up sewing with both of my grandmothers, and I think fashion is just in my blood. As a child, I made countless "costume changes" during my days playing. Expressing myself through clothing has and always will be an extremely important part of my life.
